it's a very funny video that shows you how to stop being depressed !
life is now ! :-D
More proof that adding the Benny Hill Theme to anything suddenly makes it funny ! yep! Everything can be really funny when u listen to Yakety Sax !!! "Yakety Sax" is a 1963 45 rpm single written by Boots Randolph and James Q. "Spider" Rich, and recorded by Boots Randolph.
The composition includes pieces of assorted fiddle tunes such as "Chicken Reel", and written for a performance at a venue called The Armory in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. There is also a bar of "Entrance of the Gladiators" worked into it.
This piece of music is not to be confused with the Leiber and Stoller song "Yakety Yak", recorded in 1958 by The Coasters. The tunes are similar, and both feature the "yakety sax" sound, but are distinctly different melodies. Randolph had recorded an earlier version of "Yakety Sax" that year for RCA Victor, but it wasn't until his re-recording for Monument Records that it became a standard.
:-) Yakety Sax is often used on television as a soundtrack for outlandishly humorous situations. It is frequently used to accompany comedic chases. It was used frequently in the sketch comedy program, The Benny Hill Show,[1] to accompany otherwise silent, rapidly paced comedy bits (often involving a chase scene).
There have been many one-shot usages. For example, it was used in the opening title of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart of the April 5, 2006 "Afrospanicindioasianization" special episode.[2]
It made a second appearance as part of Stephen Colbert's mix tape during the 'toss' to The Colbert Report on August 23, 2006[3] and a third on September 14, 2006, when correspondent John Oliver introduced it as "a secret song that makes things go faster! go watch on youtube the landmine commercial whit this song 'cause it'a amazing! the most funny one is the one about the twin tower collapse! can't u rember the twin tower disaster? ( On September 11, 2001 at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time, Al Qaeda suicide hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the northern facade of the North Tower. Seventeen minutes later, at 9:03 a.m., a second team of hijackers crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower, which subsequently collapsed at 9:59 a.m.[78] The damage caused to the North Tower by Flight 11 destroyed any means of escape from above the impact zone, trapping 1,344 people.[79] The North Tower collapsed at 10:28, after burning for approximately 102 minutes.[80]
At 5:20 p.m. on September 11, 2001, 7 World Trade Center collapsed due to uncontrolled fires causing structural failure.[81] 3 World Trade Center, a Mariott hotel, was destroyed during the collapse of the two towers. The three remaining buildings in the WTC plaza sustained heavy damage from debris, and were ultimately demolished. [82] The Deutsche Bank Building across Liberty Street from the World Trade Center complex was later condemned due to the uninhabitable, toxic conditions inside the office tower, and is undergoing deconstruction.[83][84] The Borough of Manhattan Community College's Fiterman Hall at 30 West Broadway was also condemned due to extensive damage in the attacks, and is slated for deconstruction.[85]
At the time of the incident, media reports suggested that tens of thousands might have been killed in the attacks, as on any given day upwards of 50,000 people could be inside the towers. Ultimately, 2,749 death certificates were filed relating to the 9/11 attacks.[86] Of these, 1,614 (59%) were identified from recovered physical remains. Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., an investment bank on the 101st105th floors of One World Trade Center, lost 658 employees, considerably more than any other employer.[87] Marsh Inc., located immediately below Cantor Fitzgerald on floors 93101 (the location of Flight 11's impact), lost 295 employees, and 175 employees of Aon Corporation were killed.[88] As well, 343 deaths were New York City firefighters, 84 were Port Authority employees, of whom 37 were members of the Port Authority Police Department, and another 23 were New York City Police Department officers. Of all the people who were still in the towers when they collapsed only 20 of these people were pulled out alive) that's it!
